Honda CBR 600 F4 1999 track bike V5 WOW

Post by zx10rgod » Mon Dec 31, 2018 11:11 am

I have a new bike project on the go so this track bike has to go to make space.

Modifications include
- Maxton fork internals (set for 90kg)
- Nitron rear shock
- Valtermoto rearsets and adaptors
- DID 525 chain and Renthal Sprockets (1 track day old)
- Brembo master cylinder
- Braided lines
- Race clipons
- Gear indicator
- Viper exhaust (includes a baffle for uber quiet track days)
- Spare set of wheels with discs - dry tyres are still good for a few days. The wets that are fitted are beyond useful life.
- Quick Action Throttle
- Two keys
- Box of spares including sprockets, clipons, levers, rest of dynojet kit and more.

£1500. Comes with a V5 and some documented service history. Most recently had new £700 worth of plugs, filters, valve clearances, new cam chain, cam chain tensioner (why not when the top was off). Runs sweet, no rattles or unusual noises. Perfect.

The paddock stand shown in the photos is not included.

Good handling and excellent running bike. Will make someone very happy. Will require minimal changes (rear rain light?) to make it ACU compliant for anyone considering the pre-injection classes.

Thanks for looking.

It might be worth posting this on Trackday Riders (though you’d need a minimum of 50 previous posts in order to sell something)..... and adding an asking price would help too..
